This is an old issue, I purchased a Compaq Presario SR1630IL model desktop PC in the year 2005. At that time, the CPU was sealed and I wasn't allowed to take a look into inside components. After a year, when I decided to upgrade graphics card, I saw there is no slot for graphics card at all. There are only 3 PCI slots available.
So I wanted to share this with you, whenever you buy branded PC, please ask for every details in case you wish to upgrade later. I am still using that PC, quality is so good that it runs troublefree on the 6th year too! But I cannot play modern day advanced level games due to lack of upgrade facility for graphics card in the motherboard.
