Non replacement of parts under warranty period

Sir,

Last year I have bought a HP compaq laptop from the dealer in dimapur but now it is showing problem with my hard drive which has to be replaced. With the help of the dealer I have send it to service centre at guwahati as there is no service centre in dimapur, but they didn't replace my hard drive. Firstly they delayed in delivery of laptop and today when my laptop reached to me I am facing the same problem. I have again send it to the service centre, but it is just a type of fraud, they provide us warranty of 1 year and within warranty period I am facing the problem so whats the guarantte that the product will work properly in future. They dont even replace the part in warranty then what will happen in non warranty period. I am angry not for the replacement but they wasted my precious time. They took 20 days but without any result. Hard drive just costs nearly Rs.2000 but question is not about the cost but the question is why they give us the warranty if they dont want to provide service and charge us for warranty at the time of purchasing.
