Laptop not working

I have a hp compaq v3000 laptop with amd processor.in the first year only it had a motherboard replacement.and only a month after the warranty ended its problem again began with no display.the service center people are again asking for a motherboard replacement and are asking for a huge sum for that..just tell how many times am i going to spend money on it... i have just decided to never buy or let anyone buy a laptop of this brand..the situation is totally disgusting
