Service refused in warranty period

I, Ajay Qazi purchased compaq laptop on 12810 invoice no 79 model no CQS0 60ITU SERIAL NO CND9430FQJ The said laptop developed following problems 1] cd is auto ejected when cd is inserted 2]date time year changes automatically 3] laptop hangs 4] display goes blank 5] auto off 6] left side of the mouse excess heating. when i went for servicing i was told to bring printed bill with stamp and sign. i did as i was told. i have a valid VAT bill now the service centre SIMTECH COMPUTRONICS [P] LTD is saying to bring bill from the distributor. Why should consumer bring distributor bill, if it so, why does the company sell products through dealers? at the time of purchase no such terms were mentioned. so i request you to resolve the matter as soon as possible other wise if any court matter arises you will be liable to bear the expenses.
