Laptop cannot be repaired in India

i am Dr. Shilpa Pal. I had purcahsed my laptop frpm Us in 2007. Now, tehre are some problems in its working. On contacting hp service centre and telling them about my laptop problem tehy said that since this laptop had been purchased form Us so YOu have to contact in US office. That is something that is not acceptable. The service has to be provided world wide. My case Id is 4624066446
