As per the warranty policy of lenovo india company, the warranty of my machine (Lenovo G-550) should be taken into account from the date of purchase i.e.20th october but on confirming my warranty status from the company I came to know that my warranty has already been expired and the warranty period has been taken from the date of manufacture of the product i.e. 4th september to 4th october due to unavailability of the invoice date (date of purchase). As I had already mentioned the invoice date during the registration of my machine, I called to lenovo Service helpline several times. They told me to send the scanned receipt of my laptop. I send them all the details and required documents but still i haven't got any replies. Even after sending the e-mails several times calling the customer service helpline,
warranty has still not been updated. My battery is not working and I'm not able to replace it as warranty of my laptop has not been updated. As the original expiry date of my warranty is getting closer, I'm in doubt that I have to spend more than 2500 bucks for my battery even it is in warranty currently.
I request an immediate action against this matter.
