Power button, dvd rom

Sir

i have purchased hcl laptop in march.

At present its power button does not work in single press, it takes lots of press and then after approximate of 20 press its start. i doesn, t know that what, s the problem, is there any problem with my laptop motherboard or else. And also its dvd rom does not work, it can load only some disk like 2 out of 15.

please give me the solution of the problem.
