Faulty meter recovery

Faulty meter recovery charges added in the electricity bill even though meter was not faulty.

I was out of town for 2 months hence there was no consumption of elecricity, when contacted MSEB they told to prove me that I was not at the residence for 2 months by getting the letter from society which subsequently got and submitted to MSEB.

But the report which was suppose to go from MSEB maintenance engineer to the billing section which he didn't send and told me that it has already been sent.

When I approached MSEB complaint section regarding bill overheads, they told report is not received from maintenance section.

I wasted my 2 leaves from office to run here and there for getting the things done from MSEB. But invain, now who is responsible for this.

Why should I prove that i was not at residence and meter is not faulty.

What these MSEB people are doing if they can't verify whether meter is faulty or not.

Whose job is this?

Why did MESB gave next bill with correct readings from meter if the meter is faulty?

why MSEB engineer didn't send the report to billing section even after fifteen days of submitting the required documents?
