My name Siva Shanker I took admission in lateral entry B.E mechanical engineering stream in the ARIGNAR ANNA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (Chennai) an AICTE approved institute under ANNA UNIVERSITY Chennai affiliation.
The admission was taken under MANAGEMENT QUOTA. On 13 august seat was booked by paying Rs.20000 then on 16 august I submitted my original certificates and remaining tuition fee Rs.80000. I attended college for only one day (17 august), on that evening I informed college administration office withdrawal of the seat. On 29 august an application was submitted before the administrative officer for withdrawal of the seat.
On approaching the institute for my original certificates and fees refund, they replied the fees will be not refunded only original certificates will be returned. For that I have to give them in written that the college has refunded whole fee and returned my certificate. Then they will return my certificate only, I didn’t accept about giving in return. Now college has detained my certificates and not refunding my fees also, without my original certificate I will not get admission in any other college because of them my whole year is wasted.
