I had an immediate requirement of a geyser with the advent of winters. And I made a purchase of a geyser from dealer 'The CAPITAL'- (Unit of Anand &Co. Electronics Pvt. Ltd.), 248/A, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata-700060 dated 22/11/09. Now this geyser firstly was sold at a price quote higher than those in other shops. Secondly, the geyser turned out to be a faulty one with internal water leakage. We immediately reported the matter to the dealre who, very rudely, didnot bother to address our complaint and asked us to contact the company people&-#039;Bajaj'.Now if the geyser is faulty at the first place and it hasnot yet been installed, the dealer should be replacing it with a new one. But the dealer as well as well as the Bajaj services asked us to get the machine repaired. I spent my hard earned money on an expensive item like a geyser and havenot even installed it or used it once, and my supposedly 'new' geyser needs a repair! I refuse to get my geyser repaired and instead asked for an immediate replacement. However the dealer as well as the Bajaj services have been showing hesitation on this regard. I feel disappointed and helpless at such post services in this age of marketing and services. I do not understand why the dealers do not understand the simple logic that when they have sold a faulty product to me, why do they not want to replace it with a new one. Instead the dealer behaves as rude as possible and shows no sign of co-operation. I am in a fix and really do not know how to get over with it. Would be grateful if some help is obtained.
