I bought a Blackberry Bold 3 9780 in the month of July from New Delhi, India. Unfortunately, it has suddenly developed a problem because of which the display has disappeared and there is white screen on the monitor. I approached the Blackberry Authorised Service Centre. They have found out through the details on the handset that the phone was manufactured in May. But they need an invoice of the purchase to take the phone for replace/repair. Unfortunately i have misplaced the invoice of the same. But if the manufacturing date as shown on Blackberry server is May, surely the phone is still within the one year warranty. It must be pointed out that i have used phones from other manufacturers like nokia which do not need a purchase invoice for warrranty.
I am sending you the required details as they are mentioned on the handset (in the battery chamber) through which you can identify the manufacturing details of the product.
