I bought a Blackberry Pearl 8220 flip on the 29th Nov from Jumbo Electronics, GIP mall, Noida. On 30th Nov i took out the battery to take a look at the phone code. When i tried to switch on the phone again, it said "APP ERROR 523 Reset"

I tried it for a couple of times but got the same result again and again.

I took the phone to Jumbo Electronics the next day- where i was told that I will have to take the phone to the blackberry serive station in Okhla! I demanded a new piece of the phone as a problem like this is not expected out of a brand new-1 day old phone!

Upon much argument, the store manager agreed to send one of the staff to the serive station promising that the phone will be replaced if irrepairable and i will be contacted the next day.

I did not hear from them and hence called them today evening. They have now conveniently told me that there is a problem with the phone's software and that uploading the new software will take another 2 days!!

Not only would i like to lodge a complaint against Blackberry's phone! but also against Jumbo Electronics for knowing NOTHING about customer service!
