I had bought an airtel blackberry bold 3G9000 on 27/03. I having some problem in my phone. But on 24/02, I found my phone was automatically switched off. I try to opened, but it was vein. I have gone to Service Centre for this. But, they refuse to take a complaint and have no clue as to who would be the responsible person to reply. They refuse to accept my phone and tell me that they can't help me as my phone was already opened. I told them that because it is in Warranty period why should I, need go some where. They also say, it’s only the service centre people only. I request them to check my phone, but they doesn't listen me and just doing arguments. After an hr argument I haven’t got any satisfactory feedback. Then I called up on 100 Number. Police came and I tell them whole incident. As I am a businessmen and I have always need to touch with the people and with my mails. So, for my requirement I needed to purchase a new phone with the feature of mails accessing.
I purchase a new blackberry Torch phone after this incident.
This is blackberry service? Where do the consumers go? what can they do? Airtel is cash rich on base of its customers- customers who can do nothing about their plight and there is no central body to take up their issues.
So the prompt reply was please take it to customer care. i was given address of Authorized Customer care centres in Delhi.
