I want you to be careful before ordering anything from Deals and You. I am giving a gist of my experience.
1. I orderd for a Blackberry 9530 Storm phone on cash on delivery. My order number was 100052575 and I got the deilvery on 21st June.
2.. On opening the packing of the phone, we saw that it was a used handset with the body full of scratches. There was no invoice copy in the packet either.
3 . I called up immediately and three times later only to be given false assurance that the hanset will be replaced and I should expect a response in 72 hours (and there is never a reponse).
4. I also sent a mail for which I got a reply that I must contact the vendor, whose name and number should be in the invoice copy. To that I replied by point out that there is no invoice copy in the box. For this I got a reply that I will be contacted shortly. I never got a reply after that. I also did not get reply to my reminder (except a mail that I will be contacted shortly)
This is a case of pure apathy towards the customer and also a case of cheating.
I have seen so many other compiants on the forum complaining about the same matter. Please spread awareness so that no more people are duped.
Can someone help me by letting me know what is the procedue to lodge a formal complaint with the consumer forum.
I have also heard that UTV bloomberg has a show which helps cheated consumers.
Do you have any idea about it?
