I had ordered Sony DAV- DZ840K 5.1 Home Theatre System on May 20 @ Rs. 19699 from Flipkart and had received the confirmation mail along with expected delivery date by 26 May from Flipkart.

Post placing my order the unit went out of stock next day hence i called up customer care on 23rd May to know the status of my order while enquiring about product, there was no concrete reply and I was told that Friday (may25) I would be updated about the status. Again on follow up on Friday (May25), the customer care desk apologized and promised me shipment by 28or29 May. On 27 May, I get a call & mail as well, that stock is out not available hence they give me option to cancel or modify it. However, on checking the website, the stock or unit was available at higher price. So I wrote back to them and in reply they cancel my order (without any consent) saying sorry for the inconvenience. Disgusting it is!!!

Flipkart customer care team has put up a most unprofessional & unethical site. There has been complete lack of commitment and transparency from flipkart.

As I client I worry placing order on Flipkart as uncertainty galore about the order and flipkart abiding by its commitment to the order.

I humbly request to take action or put them to task for such unethical task in the e-commerce business, which is all about transparency, commitment & trust.
