Having a impression of Philips in terms of quality and service way back in the year 2004 we brought a music system mode no: FW-D390
(Serial No of which is not available now), with in few month its start giving us the trouble with its CD player system, its keeps on reading and reading status (even the the CD / DVD is a brand new one). After a number of hit and trial it reads that and start playing. Since its was under the warranty period we approach the local Philips service center for the same issue and after lots of analysis with different level of there research they change the hard ware kit saying that there is some soft ware problem, but afraid to say problem was not rectified, only its help us that its take 2 time open & close process to re - read the CD / DVD.
With a base less reply by the service and repair team, stated us that it now it will work in that way so please adjust. After next 6 month the issue gets worsen and now it never reads any CD / DVD and it became a show piece / headache for us. We did tried numbers of time from the year of purchase with the local Philip's service at Bokaro but its hope less, men there is good for nothing as compare to such a world renowned brand, they always gives us worth less reasons and never tried to get in touch with the superior if they are not qualified enough to do so, all the time we worthlessly pay them for there service.
After having loosing nearly 15, 000 Rs service charge on the product we have lost the trust and now in position of not recommending any Philips product to any body and even we will never go for it in future.
Waiting for your action / needful / revert on the very above matter with little hope.
