1. I have the honour to state followings facts for your kind consideration. Please refer to Complaint No: 0601636031 with Godrej Customer care.
2. I have purchased a GODREJ Air Conditioner, Window 1 Ton, model : 12 GHZ on 22 Apr from Snehanjali Retail Pvt. Ltd, Mira Road (East) Branch, Thane. The unit was delivered to me on 23 Apr. During the Installation it was found that the Grill and the PCB back Panel was badly damaged for which the Complaint was raised as the Retailer refused replacing the Unit during installation due to shortage of the Pieces on 1 ton window air Conditioner and assured me that the faulty parts would be repaced in 2-3 days of time.
3. However after a lot of Struggle and frequent weekly visits to the Retailer and follow up with the Godrej Smart Care/ M/s Mother Cool Comforts (Ms. Maya/Ms. Saroj on 022-69799972) the Broken Grill was replaced with a Serviceable Grill in last week of Aug after a period of 04 Months in warranty. However the PCB back panel is still lying broken and yet to be replaced in WARRANTY period since installation even after 10 MONTHS of Purchase and Continous follow up with the service centre.
4. Recently During the Second free service of the A/C unit on 28 Dec the Technician Mr. Rajiv Gupta, from M/s Mother Cool Conforts/Godrej Smart Care, arrived and on inspection found the A/c serviceability and diagonised that the PCB was Partially Unserviceable (Manual touch key pad was Unserviceable/ remote was working). So he removed the PCB from the Unit and took away the PCB with the assurance of replacing it with the NEW Serviceable PCB within 2-3 days after conformation telephonic call with (Godrej Smart Care/ M/s Mother Cool Comforts (Ms. Maya/Ms. Saroj on 022-69799972).
5. However, after a weeks time when no action was taken I Called up Godrej Smart Care/ M/s Mother Cool Comforts (Ms. Maya/Ms. Saroj on 022-69799972) and they said me to Speak to Mr. ATUL SHARMA on 9820550286. So I called him up to on 06 Jan. He re-assured me that the action would be initiated and the Defective PCB would be replaced within 2 days time with a new ‘S’ PCB. However nothing happened. So I called him again after a weeks time and he again reassured them same. After 4 times telephonic conversation he has stopped receiving my calls. So I again informed the same about Mr. Atul Sharma, non responsive behaviour to Godrej Smart Care/ M/s Mother Cool Comforts (Ms. Maya/Ms. Saroj on 022-69799972). So Ms. Saroj asked me to Call up on Vikhroli Head office number: 022-67961366/60. NO RESPONSE on this number till date. No one picks the line.
6. Now at this juncture of life, with the onset of Pre-Monsoon season/ Hot humid climate of Mumbai, its hard to survive without Air Conditioner for the lack of Spare Part replacement over period of more than 2 months that too in WARRANTY period for lack of PCB and more than 10 Months for want of PCB back Panel.
7. I am compelled by the situations and Irresponsible attitude towards sales/service of the equiptmens by Mr. Atul Sharma/ Godrej Smart Care/ M/s Mother Cool Comforts, Borivali, Mumbai (Ms. Maya/Ms. Saroj) to write to you. As I feel being cheated by my own countrymen being a soldier of the nation
8. I beg your magnanimity may be please to look into this matter and please initiate action to get the defective PCB and PCB back panel replaced at the earliest which has rendered the Air Conditioner Unit Lying Unserviceacble for the past > 2 months since 28 Dec.
