My 'Deamwash washing m/c Model No. GDA 901- autoclean is 5 years old. So far, I have spent about Rs 4000/- on repairs after the guarantee period of 1 year. That means Rs 3/- per day. Now it is once again defective, probably due to the control board. It was replaced 2 years back at a cost of Rs 1600/-.For a failure of a single component the whole board is to be replaced. Most ofthe parts of the machine are outsourced but not available elsewhere and they are sold by the company at extravagant rates. Inspite of spending large sums on repairs the performance has not been satisfactiory and not reliable.
