I purchased a Godrej 1.5 ton split A.C a couple of months ago from "MUGESH HOME APPLIANCES" in Mogappair west, Chennai. I've been facing a couple of issues from the last month.
1. The A.C blower started making loud noise when its switched on (probably the flaps inside which directs the air outside). It seems louder than the celing fans. The expectation from split ACs is generally to make lesser noise than a fan or a window AC.
2. The A.C doest cool sufficiently at any temperature. Even when set at 17-18C, we still end up feeling warm in this sultry weather for almost 3-4 hours (by then we go to sleep). Only after I get up in the morning, I notice a significant difference between the temperatures inside and outside the room. I infer that it takes a lot of time for it to cool the room.
My bigger concern is about their response.
"Mugesh Appliances" in west Mogappair has been closed and shifted to East Mogappair with no individual responding properly. No on except the proprietor of the store speaks any other language but Tamil. And he is never available to talk and his phone is always switched off.
Meanwhile Godrej also has a similar problem. No response. The authorized Godrej guys in this area dont converse in any other language, cant understand what I say - forget me guiding them to my home.
All doors seem closed at the moment with hopeless service from the dealer (shop), Godrej too with unprofessional method of recruiting resources. I dont expect the techincians to be multi-lingual. At least the customer care... or SOMEBODY at any position, in this location to be responsible enough to understand.
