I have purchased a Prestige Gas Stove GT-03L A1 from Big Bazaar approx 10 months back, Glass Top got busted, based on my discussion with Prestige Service Center (In Kirti Nagar, Delhi) Manager RAJEEV and it appeared to be a well known issue with this brand, I am also very dissatisfied with service level here as Rajeev informed me that parts will be available only after 2 days and didn't bother to understand urgency of gas stove. Surprise to see his reaction he never apologized for inconvenience caused due to product defect.
This defect could lead to disaster, could have hurt badly if somebody standing near to stove the moment this top glass busted. I never had any issue with any gas stove brands till date, first experience with Prestige is worst till date.
I am anyhow going to register this complaint in Consumer Court ASAP, this product should be taken out from market immediately.
