I have bought a digital Camera of Nikon, S200 model make in may. It has got 2 years warranty with 1 year extended warranty.
The camera box indicates the product code, manufacturing date and waranty period.
I have lost the waranty card and requested the service centre in Andheri, Mumbai, India for replacing the auto gear mechanism as it is still under waranty.
They refused as I didnot carry the waranty card and also agreed that they didnot have any online system to check the data printed on the nikon camera box and offer any service.
