I bought a Bajaj cooler DC2009 in 2009 from their Delhi dealer. Within 2 months of buying the pump stopped working and had to be replaced. Within 2 years the entire body has cracked since it is made of cheap plastic, pump has stopped working again. Called up Bajaj on May 2 and they told me that someone would be sent in 2 days… I called up thrice and finally when I threatened to go to consumer court someone came on 16th May. He said that since plastic was cracked (technician admitted that plastic is extremely poor quality), he would have to use insulation tape to fasten the shutter and replaced the pump. Within 24 hours the pump has stopped working again and the cooler is again lying inoperative in this hot Delhi summer. The customer service for this product and the product are both horrible and the only reasons that like bajaj electricals gets away with this is that in India even consumer courts tend to be long drawn affairs.

I would advise all people to stay away from any products of Bajaj electricals since this is an unethical company that believes in cheating customers by selling a shoddy product and then denying customer after sales service.
