I have a IFB dishwasher under two year maintenance contract with IFB. A complaint for defect was lodged with the IFB and attended to on Monday29 August, but due to water supply not being available the machine could not be tested. Upon testing on Thursday, the machine did not work and a request was made to franchise for attending to defect. I was assured that the mechanics will come next day (Friday). When it did not happen, i reminded and was again told that the defect will be attended to on the next day (Saturday). Again the mechanics did not turn up and i lodged a complaint to the IFB and was assured that the problem will get solved on Monday. I also spoke to franchise manager who confirmed that the mechanic will arrive on Monday. however, nothing happened and the machine remains defective even after 10 days or so. In the mean time, we have been compelled to stay at home, waiting for the mechanic to arrive during the past 4 days. The IFB have been very unresponsive in the matter, despite having collected the required money for the maintenance contract. This is breach of contract and needs to be redressed.
