I bought the Sony Home Theater system DAV DZ-390 IN Aug from Home Town, Noida. After 5 week of use, one day it failed to operate give "Push Power Protect" error in the display. When I contacted the Sony, they promised in 24 Hrs Sony service person will visit my house. But it took 4 day and repeated call. They took a week to take the system for service, as it can't be serviced onsite.

My nightmare started after this. I used to follow up regularly, they give once excuse after other. After 9 week they said my system is serviced and delivered the system by some illiterate labor, who just let the system in my house. When I connected, I was horrified. Sound quality was just like 1 watt AM radio (instead of 1000 Watts RMS or 10000 Watts PMPO) with lots of noise DVD and USB not working. I again gave the complaint and this time also they took 10 days to take the services. As of today, it I haven’t received the system. Now they have promised to deliver the system on 29 November. I am really feed up with Sony and have given them an ultimatum that if I don’t get it on 29 Nov, I don’t want the system.

I am also trying to file a complaint with consumer court. If any one can help me, I will appreciate it. I am prepared to pay for this service also.
