I bought a front loading IFB washing machine Model No. Digital 5.5 Kg, Serial No. 002197. Date of purchase 22.10.2008 with an extended warranty Effective from 22.10.2008 to 21.10.2012. The warranty card Sl. No is 05221 2008.
During commissioning, the local Service organisation M/s. Royal Star people visited and never turned up so far. I requested them to visit and see the machine functioning, they never turned up.
On 17.11. during spin operation, the machine developed heavy noise and vibration, i immediately switched OFF. I reported the matter to the Customer care by dialing 1800 425 5678 and registered the complaint. The complaint No. is 5435244.
On receiving the complaint the local service people visited on 21.11. checked and informed that the concrete block and front gasket damaged. It will be ordered and may take two days. They never turned up even after a week and on contacting the service section and local IFB Sr. Manager and Manager, they informed that we are on the job. Almost daily i called both the service people and IFB, but not yet rectified till today.
I had arranged washing people on daily payment basis for washing my clothes.
Please make this as a serious issue and see that such a big company IFB does not do it such a bad service and make my machine working the earliest.
