Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Mohammed Rafiq Ahmed Memon.
I bought 4 LG Air conditioners (3 split and 1 window a.c) on 16 / 05 / 2010.The salesman (Deep Singh) of the showroom (Sony Mony at Opera House) showed me the one in the display. Although I liked the model, I told him to send me a new seal-packed A.C of the same model. He said that he will send me a new one. But when I got the delivery, I saw that the salesman had sent the one in the display. I called him immediately and asked him to exchange this one with a new seal-packed one but he said that he will exchange when the stock comes. Till now he has been ignoring my calls and when I told the cashier (Praveen) that I will go to the Consumer Forum, he said, “Consumer Forum ki dhamki nahi dena”.
I have also talked to Mr. Pankaj of LG company. For the First two days, he was saying that they'll fix it but on last Friday (28 / 05 / 2010) he said that they dont have it in stock.
I had called at Sony Mony's Prabhadevi branch as a customer, they said that the stock is available and you can come here at anytime to buy it.
We bought this A.C for the summer season but now the rainy season will start at any time. It became of no use to use. Plus, I have to keep those big cartons in my small room.
My order no. is : 1002499.
Now my only hope is this Consumer Forum. Please help me get justice.
