Sms not working

Hi,

i jst bought last mnth a LG GM 200 handset. and within 10 days my handset faced a problem in sms reading due to which first it was formatted on 31st aug. Now today again m facing the same problem. suggest me wht action could be taken against it. as i bought a new h/s. and i m not in favour of again submitting the h/set to the company for repairing
