Never Buy LG product because if the LG service people commit daylight robbery you have nowhere else to go.. Lg subcontracts it to other guys and LG conviniently looks the other way.
I had a 3 yr old 42 Inch plasma which was giving me problems, contacted LGservice they send me some local vendor.
Without opening the set he said it will cost me 7000 bucks. I okayed the propsition insisting that since its old TV if it works i pay.
Lg guys came and replaced some part switched on collected the money and disappeared. the moment they left when i tried to switch it on again it refused to restart.
I asked them to come back again and recheck again without opening they said its gonna cost me 18000 bucks.
To pay 25000 bucks for Tv which is worth less than 25000 is absurd so iasked them why did they replace the first part when it was not required as i am ok to throw my tv.
Now i am stuck with a non working Tv and still had to pay Rs 7000 for repairs for Tv which will never work.
LGs role in all this silent spectator.. They infact promised me to refund my money, but now do not call me back anymore.
