Poor Quality of Product

I purchased a 47" LCD TV around 1.5 yrs back and also took an extended warranty for the same. However, the product is of such poor quality that within this time it has already developed faults 3-4 times. Already the LCD panel has been changed twice. Every time the tv needs repairs the service technician tells us that the parts are not available and takes about 7-10 days for the repairs. The last time the LCD panel was changed was in Nov. However the TV has again become faulty about 10 days back and the service technician is again telling us that the parts are not available. So in spite of all the claims of LG of 24 hrs service, our TV is actually inoperable for 7-10 days every few months or weeks.

First, i would like to know if LG makes such poor quality products that they go bad so frequently, even for such costly products as a 47" TV.

and if the product quality is so bad then why are the parts not kept in ready stock at the service centers.

Our perception of LG products has really taken a beating and through this forum i would like to warn other potential customers to steer clear of such poor quality products. I do hope that LG is able to explain to me the reason of such frequent failures and such long periods of the product not working.
