This is in reference to My defective LCD TV, invoice #
I feel like "Done with LG"...
I purchased the TV from LG BEST SHOP (Ganpati electronics) on 5th December'2010... I installed my TV on 6th and discovered that it has Big white patches on the Top & bottom of the Screen. I called LG customer care on 7th and registered the complaint, but i did not hear anything from them for another two days so I called them again and re-registered the complain. On 10th LG send a service Engineer to check the TV. The Technician was not familiar with the issue and he escalated it to his senior, who visited after 3 hours and concluded that its a defective panel and the TV need to be replaced. He took the copy of the Bill and promised a TV Exchange in 4-5 days.
I received a Massage on my cell that its Exchange has been processed on 12th Dec, but nothing happened after waiting for 5 more days. I went to the retailer and requested an exchange from him as i was given a defective TV from his Store. He denied the same and said that its not his responsibility after sale is processed, anything and everything will be done from LG.At this time he had the same Model in Stock. I called back LG and escalated the issue and I was promised exchange within 2 days by Customer care manager, which did not happen. when i called back again to check on the exchange status I was told that this model is not in stock & I have to wait for another 3 days. Now its 24th Dec and I m still waiting for my exchange. I have been informed by Customer care officer that they have the TV available and I will get my replacement on 25th December...
I m still not sure if I will get it on time or not, as I have been Promised the same multiple time before this...
I really hope I should not have Purchased The LG product.
