I booked a complaint to LG for repairing of my washing machine on 28.5.2011. After one month, following was the output:
1. The mechanic with a great difficulty came to visit the machine and could not find the fault, the third one took the PCB for repair at LG workshop.
2. The company sought my permission over telephone to take my machine to workshop for finding the fault.
3. After wasting my time almost every day that they are coming to take the machine, the machine was taken after 5-6 days of which one day I had to rush to my home by taking half day and the other day I had to take short leave but nobody came to collect the machine.
Now after the machine is returned, following is the scenario:
1. Yesterday my machine was delivered me back which was taken to the LG workshop as no mechanic of yours was able to find the fault in the machine.
2. The delivery men handed over the machine and asked to pay charges without testing the machine.
3. The machine was without any nut bold, back cover etc.
3. On asking to test the machine, the men told that PCB is not installed in the machine and since they have done their job at workshop, it is not their work to install the PCB the other mechanic will come to install it and requested to pay the bill. Can you tell me why the machine was taken to the workshop if it to return in the same condition?
4. What a strange demand. The customer who has entrusted you the work of repairing expects it in working condition or you expect the customer to pay without handing over the items in dumped condition.
5. The machine was said to be chemically washed in the workshop but there was not a single sign of servicing of the machine, even the net inside the machine was containing same particles where were there while handling the machine to you, and neither a single strain was rubbed off from the outer part of the machine.
6. Now comes one worker type man wearing uniform with LG logo who installed the PCB
7. Obviously, I put 2-3 cloths in it with lowest water level so that I can satisfy myself that the machine is ok. Immediately tells someone over telephone, the machine is OK and leaves the place.
8. Immediately I called him back and showed that the water is still leaking from the tub which was given to the notice of the mechanics while they carried my machine to the workshop.
7. Your man told that since you have loaded the machine so the tub is leaking. Is a washing machine be used as water storage or one has to wash the cloths in it.
8. He tried his best to escape from the scene by hanky panky talks like what I can do now, you have loaded the machine, the drainage pipe needs pressure to be cleaned etc and etc.
9. Of all the days a different representative visited my place wasting 1-2 hours almost daily which are very precious for working persons.
As a customer I am very sorry to say that the company is having low paid unskilled workers (or say labour) who do not possess even ITI degree.
The other day when I called a representative for 2nd free servicing of my LG air conditioner, which was not done on the plea that the time for 2nd service is over whereas during the 1st service, LG representative suggested for servicing on May sometime with the assurance that company does not other for fews days to be over. Whereas your present representative suggested for servicing by paying them Rs.300/- (the double amount as compared to the open market) and to go into the AMC for LG products.
I have LG M/W, AC/ W/M, LEC. Thank God my washing machine has given me a lesson for never getting your products repaired from you or making any AMC with you or neither purchase any item of LG in future.
Please return the PCB which was taken earlier for repair at workshop on which I have put my signatures with PM.
