Mobile not updated PC not detecting it as modem

I went to nokia care dharmotalla branch kolkata for my e mail access on mobile and for sometimes hang out complain after getting back at present i m unable to connect net to my PC though it was working nicely my phone software is also not updated again contacting they are demanding 300 /saying it is not their work.its ridiculous
