I am one of the customers of Nokia phones and was always very satisfied with all the purchases I made with Nokia until my recent purchase of Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. Because of my trust in Nokia, I had prebooked my phone even before the launch of the phone in India. and was one of the first customers for this model. But to my surprise my happiness for the purchase didnt last long and within a week I got this problem in a handset speakers because of which I couldnt hear anyone talking in the phone. I went to Nokia dealer and asked for a replacement and he refused and he directed me to a nokia care center. First of all, since the piece was a faulty piece it should have been replaced immediately without question. Anyhow I went to the Nokia care center and before I could tell my problem to them, they saw my handset and guessed that it was the speaker problem. I was surprised when they told me that this was known problem to them for a phone model as new as Nokia 5800. But they did correct the problem.
Anyways about 4 months back my phones display started creating problem. Imagine a touchscreen handset in which you cant see anything, only parallel lines. :-(... I have been going to various Nokia care centers ever since and have not been able to get this particular problem fixed for my high end model. Again when I tried to find solutions to this problem on the internet, I found many customers are facing the same problem in Nokia 5800 handset. I dont understand how could a reputed company like Nokia get such a faulty phone launched in the market and even if this was by mistake why are they not able to resolve such a critical issue quickly.
Kindly look into the matter and get it resolved as soon as possible.
