Refusal of the repairing of the set which was under warranty

I bought Nokia N79 on 8-01 with one year warranty. It got some problem with its jack so I took it to the Nokia care for repair but they refuse it to repair saying that its warranty is already lapsed. I showed them the bill but still they refused to repair it.
