I have purchased mobile handset Nokia E5-00 (IMEI No.352023049726470) from 'The Mobile Store, Panvel, Raigad' on 13.01.2011.
On 24.02. same handset auto restarting within two minutes. In this two minutes camera & torch not working, also call was disconnected.
To resolve this, I had submitted this handset to Nokia Care [Service Centre – Siddhivinayak Electronics, 11/12, Varadvinayak, Plot No.4, Sectore-5, Near Khanda Colony Rly Gate, New Panvel (E)-410206] vide Job Sheet No.580504867/110228/51 dated 28.02.2011. One person from this centre had informed me that there is some Software or hardware problem, we have to send this handset to company, you will get it in warranty & it will take 7 days and instructed to contact on Nokia Care line at 022-30303838 for status.
Reference to this, I had contacted to this careline on 05.03. the customer care executive given me the status as- your hand set has some physical damage due to water and your warranty is void. You will get details from Nokia Care where you have submitted the handset. After that I had contacted to Siddhivinayak Electronics, New Panvel for the same, they had intimated me that your mobile have hardware problem due to some pressure or dropped from height, for this reason company is not giving warranty.
I would like to declare that my handset not have any water contact nor dropped from height. Also I was shocked to above two different replies from same company. I thinks Nokia have to give replacement of my handset.
