Respected Sir,
I am Anshul Gupta, resident of Rajpura. I purchased my handset (NOKIA N900).after few months I faced some problems regarding the charging of the handset. I approached Nokia Care Centre, Chandigarh (adress mentioned at the end) on 11th june. They told me that they would need to resolder the charging point and they would repair it out of warranty i.e. I will have to pay for it. I submitted my handset. I was not provided with the jobsheet. They told me that they would deliver the handset within 4 hours, so there was no need of jobsheet.
After my handset was repaired, i asked them for the bill. They replied "There is no bill. If u face the same problem within one month, then contact us, we will repair it free of cost". These were the wordings of the NOKIA CARE AGENT (Mr. Bhupinder Singh).
The very next day I approached them because neither my camera was working nor my memory card slot. I complained them that my camera nad memory card slot were working before I submitted my handset.they said “they don’t know anything.this is hardware problem.they wont repair it.”
I showed my handset to NOKIA CARE CENTRE, Rajpura. They opened the handset infront of me and showed me clearly that while soldering they have cut the connection of the the plate (which contained memory card slot, flashlight, camera and sensor) from the motherboard). This wont work thereafter and cant be repaired. Moreover there were soldering marks all over the board which clearly showed the negligance of the engineer who repaired my set. The caps were also missing. I am really harassed by them. I visited them 5-7 times but no action has been taken yet. I complained to the NOKIA CARE HEAD OFFICE but still no action has been taken yet. Its been 2 months that I am being harassed very badly. Please take some action. I feel really helpless by this time.
