Unreliable helpline numbe

Hi,

This is mail is to bring to your attention how pathetic the after sales service are of Nokia.

I had bought a Nokia E71 on 9th December. The mobile would hang at times which I assume happens with such mobile due to the various applications. On 1st January i charged my phone and then went off to sleep. Next day morning my phone was off when I got up. I charged the phone and tried to turn it on but the phone was not responding and would' nt turn on. I removed the battery and then put it back and again tried to restart the phone. I called up the all India helpline number in Bangalore to seek help. The customer care executive told me to visit the nearest service centre. the same day I went to the authorized service centre, but I was told that the service centre is closed so I was told to visit another service centre some 5 kms away. I first tried calling up the second Nokia Care office but nobody responded. When i reached there I was told that there is no power since morning and I will have to come back on Monday. I called up the helpline number twice again and i was constantly being directed to the afore mentioned Nokia Care which was close to my place.

Monday morning I called up the Nokia Care and asked them that do they service Nokia handsets, the answer was in affirmative. After that in the afternoon when I reached the Nokia Care I was told that they have stopped taking warrantied handsets anymore. I called up the helpline number and made the executive talk to the Nokia care store person. After this I was told that apparently that store was not an authorized store any more and I shall have to visit another service centre again. When I asked the executive to escalate the issue and to make me talk to a senior or a manger, the executive put my call on hold for 20 mins and finally i had to hang up. Again i called up the helpline number after 2 mins it took 25 mins for the executive to understand what was the problem, thereby making me waste my time and money as well.

Being a working professional it is not possible for me to get out of my office again and again to visit the Nokia Care as my office timings clash with the Nokia Care timings. The conclusion of all this would be that even after spending a high amount the company could not provide the necessary and satisfactory services. This makes me doubt the credibility of the company and I shall definitely not recommend this brand to any other person.

Please look into the matter and provide an appropriate response else i shall be forced to take an action againt the company.
