Hi,

I have purchased my Nokia E7 last year. Initially it worked good, but then one day it went dead. I couldn't power it on or charge it. I took it to the Nokia Care shop in Marathalli, Bangalore. My phone was sent to Gurgaon (or Noida) to get it fixed. It took nearly 10 days and without my phone it was a difficult time for me to reach my contacts.

When the phone was returned to me, it looked like everything was fixed. But after a few days the handset started to switch off by itself while placing or receiving the call. I took it again to the same Nokia care center. After a few days the handset was returned to me.

Now the phone is switching off randomly. It doesn't switch off for every call, but it does it in a very random way. The bigger pain is I am not able to restore my backup because the Nokia Smart Suite doesn't recognise the handset. So I am not able to restore my contacts information. I had downloaded a lot of music that came with the offer for E7 and the entire data is wiped off.

I want my handset replaced. If this is not done, I will have no choice left but to go to the consumer court if this issue is not addressed immediately.
