Replacement Of Mobile

Dear Sir/Madam,

FIRST OF ALL I HAVE 2 REQUESTS TO NOKIA

1) TO IMMEDIATELY STOP MANUFACTURING C6 MODEL & SAVE CUSTOMERS.

2) THAT YOU CAN KEEP MY PHONE WITH YOURSELF (THE PHONE WHICH I PURCHASED FROM MY HARD EARNED MONEY)

I WAS a huge fan of NOKIA till the Black day of my life, 9th Jul'11, when i purchased NOKIA C6-00 as a gift for my wife.

We purchased this mobile in Rs 12, 000/- from "Hotspot - City-center mall" outlet in Nashik city of Maharashtra (India). The very next day my wife complained for frequent hang up of the set & said it is very annoying. It really surprised me to see a costly Mobile phone from nokia giving trouble on the very first day. She tried to use it again by Switching it “OFF” & then “ON”. But within 3 days it was clear that the mobile has some serious trouble & cannot be used. I went back to “HOTSPOT” outlet & ask them to replace it immediately but they insisted that this problem can be repaired at Nokia –care center in Nashik. So he kept the mobile with him & sent it to Nokia care for repair. One week later i received it back after getting a call from Nokia care & Hotspot that it has been repaired. But after 2 days again the problem reappeared & my wife kept on complaining about problems which are as:

1) Mobile Hangs up on its own very frequently

2) Menu Button doesn’t work

3) Caller’s name doesn’t come on screen even if the number is saved in memory

4) Sometimes the mobile doesn’t ring only blink. (Even it is normal mode & not in silent mode).

5) Suddenly the screen goes completely WHITE.

She continued using the by Switching it “OFF & ON” whenever it used to Hang. But it really became untolerable So I had to again give this mobile to nokia-care center, Nashik for repairing on 17th Dec’11. Yesterday i got a call from NOKIA that this problem cannot be corrected at Local center so they have to send it to Main Service Center & it will take about 10 days for giving it back.

My questions to NOKIA are:

1) Why the problem came in a Brand new phone?

2) Why it was not replaced when it was reported first time (If this problem cannot be repaired)?

3) Even after repairing by NOKIA CARE, why the problem remains as it is?

4) Is the defect so severe that it was required to be sent Main Service Center?

5) What will NOKIA do, now, to address my Complaint?
