I am one of the extremely fedup customer of Nokia. I'ce purchased Nokia N-97 Mini of Rs.22, 300 in March & after purchasing this mobile i've made one of the biggest mistake of my life.
You name the problem & this phone have it.
It hangs, It restart automatically, display goes off, battery is totally faulty & overheats continiously, data gets deleted automatically, Not charging.
In last 7 months, i have shown this hadset to service centre at least 20 times. But this time when i shown my handset to Nokia care, then they told me about warranty extension and on their request, i purchased one warranty extension pack of Rs 1414.And after that they send my handset to Nokia head office.
After 5 days i got a handset back and they told me that it is working fine now. I had faith on them and moreover the battery was not at all charged so i didnt check the handset and brought back but when i thought to use my handset now then i came to know that problem was still remaining same i.e It was not accepting the charging.
It was already 7 pm and service centre was closed that time so i immediately called up to customer care 011-30303838 and told them the same issue. They advised me to visit the service centre as usual.
Next day morning i took my handset to them again and asked about the refund of my money of warranty extension pack coz i had made up my mind that i wil not spent any money on this problematic handset but the executives at service centre requested me to give them one more chance and finaly i gave it but this was my great mistake.
They called me at evening time and told me that the handset has got liquid damage and i will need to bear the cast for repair and moreover my warranty is VOID forever.
Now my 7 months old expensive phone is out of warranty forever and they are not ready to return my money of even the warranty extension also and moreover every month i will have to spend at least Rs 500 from now onwards and when this hadset is absorbing the water from atmospheric humdity them who knows that this time they will charge Rs 20, 000 for repair
Iam not getting any solution anywhere & in lack of this iam forced to take legal action. Iam writing this mail to you in hope of getting any response from you guys.
Please help me to get my phone rectified or issue me new phone & if both options are not possible then please give my money back.
