Product Specification

I went on a short term assignment of 3 months to US and I purchased a Onkyo HT system TX SR603 there. The Onkyo international website had given product specification for the product that the Power specification was given in the product catalog as

Power Supply... AC 120/220-230 V, 50/60 Hz

Power Consumption... 630 W

Stand-by Power Consumption... 0.5 W

Dimensions (W x H x D)... 435 x 174 x 377 mm

Weight... 11.1 kg

So hence I ordered thru Amazon and when I got the product finally the Product was only having Power Supply of. AC 120, 50 HZ

when I shipped my receiver later that year to india and enquired it with Onkyo India office they said they cannot do anything about it, Need to buy a converter. I spent Rs 4000 on a converter.(230 to 100 V)

pls give correct specifications when you are selling the product. The power specifications given can be used thru the world but the product shipped can be used only in US.

The learning is pls pay more attention when you are purchasing the Product Online and never go by Photos or catalogs which also says a disclaimer that product specifications are subject to change.
