We bought a Panasonic LCD in late 2007 in around 26, 000/- INR and recently there was some issue with the display. We called up the Panasonic staff who sent us a representative to collect the LCD. After checking he informed us that the repair charge would be 1300/- Rs. We agreed and sent the LCD along with him. later after may follow ups we were informed that the repair charge would be around 30, 000/- Rs which exceeds the cost of the LCD. After 3 months of dilly dallying we were told that the LCD was not to be found. again after repeated follow ups one day a Panasonic Representative came home with the LCD in the absence of any male member in the house and forcefully left the LCD without repairing it or giving us a valid explanation as to why were we told the repair cost would be 30, 000/- when earlier we were told it would be 1300/-.. This is a very serious issue and needs to be addressed.
Our Panasonic complaint no is 006554 and the outlet with whom we were dealing is Heera electronics at Juhu Gali, Andheri west.
