I have given my Philips audio/video/radio set (Model No. FWD872/98, Prod. Reg. ID: 51373000024929) to the authorized service centre (Vijay Electronics, Thekkumoodu Jn., Trivandrum) on 22nd of last month (July) for repair. I visited the service centre 5 times now and called them nearly 20 times. They are not giving proper response and they are just postponing saying that the IC unit is gone, motherboard is gone, that they have not got the spare parts, etc, etc. I doubt whether they have yet identified the problem. They tell that they will repar and give the set the following week. But the next week the same old story that this is not working, that is not working, give one more weeks time, etc. It is one month since I have given the set for repair. Today also I contacted the technician and he said that he will give the set after repar next Saturday. This is the worst customer care by Philips. I have given the technician one more last chance to give the set next Saturday.
