Issue of warranty for product

Dear sir.

I am S B Deshpande Mechanical Engineer staying in Belgaum Karnatak state.

I have philips Tv 29'' purchase in 2003. on 30-12 the tv become dead. so I have taken tv for repairs to your authorised service centre M/s shree Raghavendra

electronics, they have checked and told me one IC is to be replaced charges are Rs 3200/ (three thousand two hundred) but we will be charging RS1800/(eighteenhundred). I was shocked and said yes you go ahed. I thought they are giving discount on that part.

On 31/12 evening I went to collect the TV it was repaird and ok condition.

I paid Rs1800/ they have given me the Tv. Then I asked them for recipt And my replaced part they said no we will not give you that part, if you pay Rs 3200/ we will give you that replaced product and cash recipt.

My request to you is if one ic coasts Rs 3200/ what will be the cost of TV. If the same defects occures within a month who will be resposcible, I cant go to service centre because I dont have receipt, if they would have told me before repair Rs 3200/ for receipt and replaced part I would have taken different action.

I hope you will do the justice by issuing me a recipt OR warranty of that product without charging additional RS1400/
