I bought a Philips LCD TV -5000 Series Model 24 " this March. The port for routing the sound from TV thru the home theatre system also a Philips was not working and I lodged a complaint with the consumer care on 24 th March. After several follow ups I was assured by their Regional Sales Manager Mr. Major Gill the set would be replaced. After several follow ups for the past 2 months all their assurances saying within one hour, one day, one week has not worked. All assurances are not honoured and the TV is only 2 months old. Probably they are waiting for the warranty period to be over by next March so that they can comfortably say the 'the Warranty is over"
