I had purchased a Philps LCD TV of model 32TA1600/98 in the year 2007on payement of Rs 45, 000/-. I purchased Philps TV as this was a reputed brand having image of quality products. However contrary to it's reputation, this TV went out of order on 08-01 and there was no picture while the TV was in On mode and only Audio could be heard. TV was taken to Philps Service Centre in Noida and I was telephonicall advised that Inverter Card has gone out of order and the cost of repair will be approx Rs 1-. The guarantee for this repair was only for three months. I am highly disappointed with Philps TV as after spending Rs 45000/- the TV has gone out of order with in such a short period while my previous three TVs have given good services for 6-7 years each. The cost of repair is very high and wit practically no guarantee. The quality is unacceptable and I think I made a wrong choice to buy Philips TV. I decided not to get the TV repaired and I have purchased Sony Bravia this week.
