Induction cooker burnt within 1 month of purchase

We bought this PIGEON INDUCTION COOKER (RAPIDO) in SARAVANA STORES - chennai on 9-12-09... but we are filing this complaint on 19-01... so u can feel tht how bad we are feelin to say this... we rarely used this stove because we have gas stove too... when we kept rice cooker suddenly smoke came out and the stove was burning... we surely know that they wont mind abt customers complaints in these stores... dont know how to take measures... waiting for good reply...
