I am an Airtel mobile subscriber. I had lost my mobile on 13 Jul 10 and applied for a duplicate SIM - as per the procedure - in the evening at around 1900-1930h. I was told that it would be activated within 12 hrs. However, even today - 14 Jul 10 at 1000h it is still inactive. It is hampering my operations significantly. On checking with your helpline, I have been told that it will now be activated by 1200h on 16 Jul 10. My complaint no for today is 33143802. I hope the executive concerned is held accountable and taken to task for this poor service since this is not expected from a company like Airtel in this competitive market. Also, can the activation be expedited please? Could u please let em know the disposal/status at my email id '[email protected]'? Hoping for an early disposal and reply.
