I have been using Airtel prepaid connection (9005754362) for quite some time now. Currently, I am in Gurgaon (NCR) on a trip and I intend to stay there for another month. Today, to my utter disbelief, I realised that my outgoing and incoming calls were barred. A call to airtel support (UP east) revealed that it was done by Airtel because I didn't submit some verification document. Now How am I supposed to know that I had to submit the documents. I didn't get any sms or calls on my mobile for the same.
The guy on the line (who was not even able to speak proper hindi) suggested me to come to lucknow and submit the documents. As you would Imagine this is not possible for me at this moment, so I request Airtel to kindly activate my mobile connection else I will escalate this further with Nodal authorities.
This is clearly a case of customer harassment. I am willing to submit all the documents once I am back in Lucknow.
