Aarey milk booth centre no. Z-1619 located opposite the Kunthunath Jain Temple on St. Andrew's Road in Santacruz (West) has been grossly overcharging clients for Aarey milk products. For a standard 200 ml bottle of the milk based drink "ENERGEE" (any flavour) having an MRP of INR 15/-, the proprietor of the stall charges INR 17/- claiming the additional INR 2/- are charges to keep the beverage cool - this despite pointing out to him that overcharging is illegal and a criminal offence by Indian law.
I would appreciate if this forum can somehow initiate action against such vendors, especially those granted licenses to serve the common man by the municipal corporation.
